Napoleon Bonaparte Impacts Today
Napoleon Bonaparte was born on August 15, 1769, in the Corsican city of Ajaccio. He was the fourth of eleven children and at age ten, he was enrolled to enter French military schools for aristocrats and in 1779 he went to the College of Autun in Burgundy and French military school. Napoleon Bonaparte was a very important French military leader who created an empire that stretched all the way across almost all of Europe in the early 18th century. He was a very smart military commander and his methods for fighting wars are still studied today. Eventually, he became Emperor of France, but later he was forced to leave France and live out the rest of his life on an island in the South Atlantic. The purpose of this paper is to show why Napoleon is important today.
In Napoleon's early life he came from a decently wealthy family, Napoleon was able to attend school and get a good education. He went to a military academy in France and trained to become an officer in the army. When his father died in 1785, Napoleon returned to Corsica to help handle the family's affairs. While in Corsica, Napoleon became involved with a local revolutionary named Pasquale Paoli which was a leader of Corsica. For a little amount of time he helped Paoli in fighting against the French occupation of Corsica. Then, he later changed sides and returned to France. When Napoleon was in Corsica, the French Revolution was in in Paris, France. The people turned against the King of France and took control of the country. The royal family and many aristocrats were killed. When Napoleon's return, he added himself with a group of the revolutionaries called the Jacobins. He was got the position as the artillery commander in 1793. The city of Toulon was taken by British troops and the British navy had control over the area. Napoleon came up with a strategy that helped to defeat the British and force them out of the port. His military leadership in the battle was recognized by the leaders of France and, at the young age of 24, he was promoted to the position of brigadier general. This shows how at a such an early age he was able to do great things. He was able to defeat the British and made them flee out of the area which is an incredible task that was noticed by the leaders of France. This would lead to great opportunities in the future that will follow in the nexts articles.
In 1796, Napoleon was given command of the French army in Italy. When he came to Italy, he saw that the army to be very un-organized and losing to the Austrians. Napoleon again continued to be an ambitious man and a brilliant general. He took advantage of his position by organization to move troops quickly around the battlefield so they would always outnumber the enemy. He soon made the Austrians flee out of Italy and became a national hero. Again Napoleon continues to do great things and prove his greatness being the brigadier general. He shows taking charge and making a difference. He then lead the military expedition into egypt and then came back to Paris. The political climate in France changed by the day. The government at the time was called the Directory, was losing power. With his allies that was actually his brother Lucien, Napoleon created a new government called the Consulate. This concept included three leaders that were at the top of the government but Napoleon gave himself the title of First Consul. This choice of being the First Consul made him the dictator of France. Napoleon was essentially a person who went through the ranks very rapidly which was a great honor and to this day is incredible. I think that Napoleon was a man that deserved to have have a high position in the government. As I read more and more about him, it was all good things about him and it never stops. Then next paragraph follows with more information with his ruling all the land of Europe.
Being the dictator of France, Napoleon was able to institute a number of government reforms. Napoleonic Code was one of the many reforms that was amazing. This code stated that government positions would not be chosen based on a person's birth or religion, but on their qualifications and ability. This was a huge change in the French government that was a start of something big. Before the Napoleonic Code, the high positions were given to aristocrats by the king in return for favors. This often led to people that didn't actually have the right background or qualities to have important positions that didn’t deserve that position. Napoleon again helped to improve the French economy by building new roads and encouraging business. He created the Catholic Church as the official state religion, but at the same time allowed for freedom of religion to those who weren't Catholic. Napoleon also set up non-religious schools, so anyone could get an education. This is incredible things that Europe has never experienced. The choice of your religion or where you went to school was not something that was able to be chosen back then. This was the start of something incredible. Napoleon's power and control continued to grow with his changes in this area. He was crowned the first Emperor France in 1804. Napoleon did a great job by creating peace in Europe, but soon France was at war with Britain, Austria, and Russia. After losing a naval battle against Britain at the Battle of Trafalgar, Napoleon decided to attack Austria. In the Battle of Austerlitz, they defeated the Russian and Austrian armies. Over the next couple of years, Napoleon expanded the French Empire by the day. France controlled much of Europe from Spain to the borders of Russia that was never done before. Obviously Napoleon couldn’t of been a perfect man making no bad mistakes deciding to invade Russia. Napoleon marched a huge army to Russia. Many of them starved to death along the way. After a harsh battle with the Russia, Napoleon entered Moscow, as he enter he noticed there was no one in the city. As winter came, the was no army supplies. He had to return to France and by the time he returned to France, most of what was left of his army had died from the weather or starved to death. Despite all his war accomplishments he was a great statesman, he created something called the Napoleonic Code. Napoleonic Code is the French civil law code that was created when Napoleon was at rule, It was the first legal code to be created in a country with a civil legal system. It was based on Roman law, and it divided the civil law into:
This concludes Napoleons ruling. Everyone makes mistakes but after all he has done he was a great man that made wonderfull decisions. He did something that has never been done before. He became ruler of france at an early age and made a huge difference that has impacted that land still to this day. He made religion open in his area that gave kids a better education that can maybe someday be like him. He created a code that was a legal law that many countries used at that period of his time which is still used to this day.

Napoleon Can Change You
Today I am here to help you and everyone else. I will be talking to all you war leaders and about war technique and how to beat your enemies. This information will not only help you only win a war but little battles that everyone has everyday. It’s not about how many men you have in a war but the technique and artillery that you use. Pretend you are in a fighting ring, the bell rings and you are overweight 150 lbs. and the other guy is 200 lbs. with all muscle. You are scared out of your mind. What is your plan? This is what we will be talking about.
If you put into thought that the your enemies might be stronger but you can be mentally strong by using smart technique. Instead of trying to physically attack the enemy and hurt them head on, you have to study their every move. Being able to know there next step by knowing their past. You must confused the enemy and make them think they know what you are going to do but that’s where you get them. You must make your enemy tired by making them work while you stand there and dodge their attacks as soon as you enemy shows weakness, thats where your physical actions come into place. You must go twice as hard as they suspect. As soon as you notice the enemy shows more and more weakness you keep the same amount of pressure and this is how he will defeat them.
This concludes my speech, I hope you can take in and think about what I said and use it in your advantage like I once said, it doesn't matter how many people you have in your army but how you use them.

1. I think I learned most about myself while making this project. I did not realized sometimes when you write out about yourself, you can really learn all more about yourself.
2. I wish I had more time to relax at home and watch t.v.
I think I did best writing in depth information about myself. I was able to go deep

5. I think the most enjoyable part about this project was some of the questions were pretty mellow and short and it was difficult to elaborate more on the answer. Sometimes I found myself writing run on sentences about something boring just because I was told to make my answers longer.
6. I think I was rushed towards at the end of the project to put it together. I think there should be like 15 minutes before you actually present to put finishing touches on the project. It will surprise you how many of the proe
