Honrando el pasado
We had to choose a proverb from a website that reflects who you are and then respond to the line. Then also create a painting of a portrait of yourself. This is my proverb below and my reflection:
“Quien no le sobra pan, no críe pan.”
Never spend your money before you have it.
Eli Steria
For me, this proverb means that you must make money before you think about what you're going to by. I learned this lesson when I was 10 .
I was doing chores around the house to earn money and buy toys. I kept money to buy parts for my bike. I always felt like I always worked because both wanted the toy . It was just me , but I worked for my mother during this time. She always wanted me to be an entrepreneur.
Now I really do not think about what I'm going to buy until you actually have the money . I enjoyed saved all my money to buy expensive toys now .

Leccion de repaso
For this project we worked in groups and created a lesson with either song, script play, game, etc.
My group chose to do a script play because it wasn't too popular and we wanted to stand out. Here is the script:
Carson - Narrator
Travis - Noun/Adjective
Chase - Feminine
Eli - MasculineCarson enters stage
Carson: ¡Bienvenido! Nuestro tema es el acuerdo Adjetivo. We will showing you examples of changing the adjective ending depending on if it’s masculine or feminine, also if it’s singular or plural.
(Welcome! Our topic is Adjective agreement.)
Travis enters stage
Travis: ¡Hola! Soy un gato
(Hi, I am crazy Cat)
Carson: Es un gato loco o loca?
(Is the cat a Loco or loca cat)
Audience will answer. Carson will respond if correct or incorrect. Travis will celebrate if correct. (Loco is correct)
Travis exits stage and Chase and Eli enter acting as penguins.
Eli: oye, soy un pingüino.
(Hey, I am a penguin)
Chase: Yo también soy un pingüino.
(I am also a penguin)
Carson: dos pingüinos, ¿Son alto o altos?
If there is two penguins, is it alto or altos?
Audience will answer. Carson will respond if correct or incorrect. Chase and Eli will celebrate if correct. (Altos is correct)
Next Scene
Eli: Hola, soy una silla
(Hi, I am a chair)
Travis comes from nowhere and sits down.
Carson: Si la silla es de color rojo, ¿es rojo o roja?
(If the chair is red, is it rojo or roja)
Audience will answer. Carson will respond if correct or incorrect. Travis and Eli will celebrate if correct. (roja is correct)
Next Scene
Hat is thrown out to the middle of the stage
Chase: Hola, yo soy una gorra.
(Hi, I am a hat)
Carson: Si es una gorra, ¿es chido o chida?
(If it is a hat, is it a chido or chida)
Audience will answer. Carson will respond if correct or incorrect. Chase will celebrate if correct. (chida is correct)
Everyone exits stage and it ends.
Explanation of skit:
Summary We will be using students to represent the masculine, feminine, singular and plural definite articles. One student will be the main narrator and the other three students will switch off roles from the adjective or noun to the masculine or feminine articles. The audience will participate by answering which definite article should be used for the given noun or adjective, and the narrator will tell them if it is correct or incorrect.
Explanation of Skit Examples
That would conclude our skit and presentation.

Explanation of Skit Examples
- The first example will have one person coming up and telling the class that he is a crazy cat. The class will then have to answer if he is a loco cat or loca cat. The correct answer being the masculine version loco cat because the cat is a male cat.
- The second example would be two students coming out and introducing themselves as penguins. The narrator will then ask the class if there are two penguins would you say alto or altos. The correct answer being altos since there are multiple penguins that you are talking about.
- The third example would be one student pretending to be a chair. The narrator will ask the class if the chair is red would you say rojo or roja. The correct answer would be roja because a red chair is a feminine object.
- The final example will be one student pretending to be a hat, but the feminine version of a hat which is a gorra. Because this word ends in an A and not an O like sombrero this is a feminine word. Will b\we be asking if this hat is cool would it be chido or chida. The correct answer would be chida since it is feminine.
That would conclude our skit and presentation.
