DP UPDATE: vIDEO rEFLECTION
I have improved tremendously since the first day with my overall speaking skills and my vocabulary. Without out a strong vocabulary background, your conservation wont be as good as they could be. I think practicing with friends is a good study skill because when you mess up it's not as embarrassing with you friends. Also, I think practicing around the house with your family is good practice. I think I need to learn more of the tenses in spanish. If I were to take the spanish final today, I think I wouldn't do too good just because we haven't had much practice as a whole group. I think we need to sit down and just practice our conversations more. I want a fluent normal conversation for our spanish final.

Spanish week 2 CONVERSATIOn

Above is a link to one of my first spanish conversations. I created this video to show my progress through the semester. Towards the end of the year, I will create another video with the same person but it will be faster, more fluent and more complicated. Knowing little spanish before this semester started, I was nervous to see how I was going to do but after a week or two of working hard and paying attention it payed off. I was surprised to see what I have learned already and I am excited to see what I can learn this year. I wish to be able to have a good spanish vocabulary and being able to have a clean conversation. I will need to stay concentrated and take lots of notes in class. Out of class I will be practicing with family members and reviewing my notes preparing for quiz.

Above is a link to the third and final draft of my bio. Throughout this whole process, I have learned a lot of new things and important spelling changes. My pronouncing of the spanish very rough but I think it approved a lot.

I think working on my own bio is helped me because certain things you talk about yourself and tell people everyday is in spanish. So all the keywords in our bio is easily remembered since we did so many drafts. I think this was a great project because you can see the major difference from the first video to the third video. Just how I am pronouncing the words has changed a lot. My pronouncing is vert rough but I think it as improved. Towards the beginning of the spanish semester I was scared to pronounce the big words cause it was embarrassing but I think now if you just push though it and try your hardest to say it you will eventually succeed.
